Has anyone seen a case where the data in a smart list did not match the data in a excel version of the same list?  We have GP 2018

    Hi,

    Can you please elaborate on the sentence "smart list did not match the data in a excel version of the same list"

    Are you exporting the data from SmartList to Excel or mean by that using the same Excel report in GP that uses the same underlying SQL view as SmartList ? 

    What I often see is that the variance between the GP Excel built-in Report (when deployed) and the equivalent SmartList is either a filter / column selection issue, or a default row limit (i.e. by default SL stops at 1000 lines) 

    It is much easier to add column filters in SmartList, though limited to maximum 4, than it is in Excel, where editing the query is much more difficult for a lambda user.
