Hello Experts,

Received below question today from a customer.
As I have no clue how to do this in AX 2009 I am hoping some of you have done this before :)

"We will recalculate standardcosts for our items. We need to know how to close items from being recalculated."

Many thanks!

Yes, you should be able to single out a model group.

I haven't had any replies if it worked or not, asked my client to try in test first.

    Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I have advised my client to do so, no reply back if it worked yet.

No item filter as far as I can recall and I was in AX2009 Inventory Close only yesterday

I would have thought it's all about the Model Group

If they are in a FIFO based group there should be no adjustment

    Hi,

Can't you simply filter out the item for which you don't want to have a standard cost calculation being executed? As far as I remember there is a periodic feature in AX2009 that allows you filtering out items that you don't want. Have you checked that out already?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
