Workflow Due date expirations batch job is getting failed.....and throwing the Error

Infolog for Task Workflow Due date expirations (5637363827)

SysWorkflowEventDispatcher-onWorkItemEscalation-Failed to find work item.

Workflow work item escalation failed! Please contact your system administrator.

Please help me out.

This error can occur when the workflow is trying to escalate back to the person who is currently assigned the work item. Unfortunatly Ax does not do this validation when the workflow is configured. If this is the desired functionality the workflow should be configured to escalate to "Workflow owner".
