I'm using Dynamics 365 Finance & Ops VHD (downloaded from LCS) for upgrading the AX 2012 database. This is a onebox development environment used on-premises.
The upgrade process fails with at Step 3 - GlobalUpdate script for service model with the error:
A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process (provider: SSL Provider, error: 0 - The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted.
The VHD used was 10.0.32, upgraded using Service Update 36 and none of the default settings were touched.
Would appreciate any help on this. Thanks.
