Stock-take while trading with Microsoft RMS

Hi,

I'd like to know if there's a way to perform stock take while still trading. At the moment we have to close shop to perform a stock-take and it's a really inconvenient method.

RMS is supposed to be smart enough to take this into account, recalculating during the adjustment process for sales and receivers done after the time stamp of the inventory start. Not positive how well it works, best to run a small test with a few items and see.

If it doesn't seem to track properly, then you would have to do a manual adjustment back up or down for all of the receipts done meanwhile, and better not to do Receivers then.

Some of the Mobile inventory count solutions I work with run this properly without relying on RMS's native process, ping me if you want me to look up which.
