We have created a retail self service solution using the MPOS. The solution is on R3 CU9.
About once a day the MPOS automatically logs off. We want to avoid this. I thought that the automatic logoff had to do with the 'Auto logoff timeout (minutes)' parameter that can be set on the POS registers in AX. The default value is 0. With this value the MPOS will log off when it has been inactive for 30 minutes.
We have changed the value to 14400 (240 hours). But with this value the automatic logoff is still happening about once a day. I have looked in the channel database and the 'Auto logoff timeout' value has been updated there too.
I have also tried to disable the functionality in the MPOS code. User session timeout is tracked by UserActivtyTracker.ts. It gets initiated in LoginView.ts (UserActivityTracker.setUpserverConfiguredAutoLogoffTimeout()) and Pos.ts (Commerce.UserActivityTracker.setUpUserActivity()). I have commented out both these method calls.
After all this the automatic logoff is still happening. Is there any other MPOS functionality that could be causing this?
