Cannot run configurable hierarchy workflow

Hi all,

I am having a trouble with processing a Purchase requisition review workflow.

I have set up a Position hierarchy with different Positions and corresponding Workers.

I also set up the Approval step in the workflow with Hierarchy type of Configurable hierarchy and assigned the Position hierarchy above with this workflow.

However, when I submitted the Purchase requisition to this workflow, the error "There is no hierarchy configured for use with this workflow.." was thrown and the workflow stopped.

Is there any setup that I might be missing to run this workflow?

I have set up everything similar to the blog post, but could not get the workflow work, the error still persisted...

Can you check what settings you have done on the form Position hierarchy type? This should contain the link between the configurable hierarchy and the workflow. Probably you can share some screenshots, so we can verify your settings?

Configurable hierarchy works based on relation ship field rather then report to:

Is it possible for you to share screenshots of position and workflow?

Hi all,

Sorry for late reply! Here are some screenshots from my testing:

1. Set up relationship between Positions:

2.Set up assignment in workflow approval

3. Associate workflow to hierarchy

And still, the error still pops up after I submited the Purchase requisition.

I have activated the latest version of the workflow and submitted the Purchase requisition only after that.

Hello,

Ok, and have you tried with a new instance after activating?

If still not working, please see a developer to check this issue, though this seems a confg issue.
