70Is there any way to calculate the acceptable range of time it takes to print most commonly used AX reports?
In our production environment, it takes about 30 seconds to generate Customer Aging Report and about 5 to 10 minutes to generate Gross Margin Report depending on customer.
We know it depends on many parameters such as size of data, type of storage and CPU and RAM size but I think it is possible to estimate the acceptable range of time AX usually take to generate these reports by entering these numbers as parameters on Excel sheet.
Can anyone experienced with AX provide this?
We just want to have this in order to be able to determine if the system has performance issue and require attention/maintenance or users should accept the slow performance as the standard AX performance. Just like a decision support system of if our AX performance is okay or not.
Of course, if anyone knows if there is a way to speed up the performance like search engines, that will be also great.
