System Message 5044 in Dynamics SL 2011

Hello

Hope someine could help me with this. When I try to enter to one of our companies in Dynamics SL 2011, the system show us a screen with the system message 5044 that says: Database bame invalid (SYSTEM_DATABASE) Cannot find apropiate tables fot system or company database.

Hello Alejandro,

Please review Knowledge Base article 875704. There are several resolutions that might resolve this problem. Please let me know if you are still having the problem after trying the resolutions in the article.

Hi Alejandro

I am doing a test upgrade to SL 2018 and unfortunately I have encountered the same error message on accessing one of the companies.

I am trying to access the knowledge base article that resolved your issue but cannot access it. Do you have a reference to this article that I can review the solutions?

Could anyone assist in resolving this issue. Any assistance will be appreciated.

I was having the same problem. I found that the application DB name has a max limit of 16 characters. I kept mine to 15 and my problem was solved.
