Send email notification based on Available Physical inventory

Hi D365 experts,

I have a simple requirement where if item's available physical comes down to a certain qty an email notification to be sent to users.  I thought of using the on hand inventory report but even when I mention a criteria in the query its not working as per the mentioned criteria. For example i have mentioned all items lesser than 50 available physical but when the report is generated I am able to see that items with available physical greater 50 is also present. 

Is there any other way to achieve this requirement ?

    Hy Jonty,

    what you can do out of the box you can set a filter to the Inventory Management/queries and reports/On-hand-List.

    Just add e.g. the "available physically" field to the left filter pane and enter the general minimum value with "less than or equal":

    I this is not exactly what you want you could setup a Power Automote Fow to run periodical to find the items with onhand value below a generel value or below the item specific minimum onhand value (setting inside item coverage), This list could then e-mailed to the user.

    Hi,

    I would recommend you to use Critical on Hand Inventory report, which will show you items which have stock below the min. defined quantity.

    To make this report work, you need to have enabled Master planning and set the Min. quantity on Item coverage for every item.

    After you have all the above settings and parameters set, you can create a batch job, which will send you for example on daily base in the morning the report on the desired email address.
