Business process flow with two option field issue

Hi All,

I am working on Dynamics 365 OnPremise version 9.1. In Sales opportunity entity, using our customized business process flow. In it, using mandatory two option value and default field value is "No".  But this value is not accessible by BPF. If we finish the flow, throwing error as "Fill required field". If we set as "yes", it's working fine. While searching error, i got the below mentioned link.

Referred URL:

Clarification:

1. Is BPF not allow two option "No" value

2. If yes, we are using two option value in more BPF.  It's very difficult to change all the two option which are using in BPF to the option set datatype with new field and migration of  all the existing two option field data to the new field.  If we are using this field in workflow/plugin and so on, the changes are very big.

Kindly suggest, any other solution without creating option set fields for exist two option which we are using in BPF

Thanks in Advance,

Saratha.

    Hi Saratha,

"Is BPF not allow two option "No" value?"

Yes, when your two option field is required in BPF, the "No" value wouldn't be allowed.

As far as I know, there is  no another way to achieve this. You could raise a ticket to contact Microsoft.

    Hi Saratha,

Microsoft Documentation doesn't mention this. Here are some other links, you can have a look:

    Hi Steve,

Thank you so much for shared reference links.  It is very helpful.

Yes, the option label whatever may be, the two option value 0 is not allowing to move to next stage if the field is required in BPF level.

I got the below mentioned reference from Microsoft document which is explained about two option limitation.

    docs.microsoft.com/.../create-business-process-flow

    Thanks and Best Regards,

    Saratha
