consuming custom web service

Hi,

i created custom service class followed by this link,

than i using json console application followed by this link,

https://community.dynamics.com/365/financeandoperations/b/goshoom/posts/json-based-custom-service-with-parameters-ax-7

i mentioned above links useful and working properly, in console application i get a json format data, but i can use only in local server browser, but i want to get a json format data

in any browser in any server.

how to achieve this.

    Your colleague must also develop an application that connects to this endpoint. So no web browser needed. Just like you developed the console application.

    The method you're using is GET. Do it with POST Method.

    hi nikolaos, 

    this is a console application output, i want to get this in web browser, this is not for user, this is only for my colleague(developer), he can get and develop in backend  by given url, can you give suggestion how to do this,

    when i did open this url it  showing like this in web browser.

    Does your business process really involve people reading json?  As far as I know, you can't use D365 custom services like that. But even if you could, I would really think a bit how to improve the process and not make users handle json.

    For example, you could develop a data entity and let the user use it via Excel. Or develop a form in D365  to show the info.

    If i return the json data in web browser, my colleague get that json through web browser by i given url, than he can get and work

    What is your business requirement? Services are used to integrate applications. Why would you want to see the json in a web browser?
