Job entry in job queue does not start after error or exception

I have created a job to run code unit and i have set these configurations.

But when i am generating the exception in the code intentionally to test if it runs again with 3 attempts, it doesn't re-run again on exception. In fact i have set the Re-Run delay seconds and Retry attempts as well.

Please guide me if i am missing any step in job configuration.

    I had tried a lot of things on the internet seems like it doesn't start if error or exception occurs and it's status remain with In Process. I am struggling hard to fix this issue i have created a sample code unit in which i am intentionally generating the exception so that i can see if it retries 3 maximum number of attempts after the every 60 seconds. But it doesn't start once exception occurs and status remain as In Process
