I am running Solomon 6.0 and I can not seem to find a report that will give me year end accounts payable balances that tie out with the general ledger balance. All the reports seem to give me AP that is still open that was open at year end but it does not include those items paid since year end.

Any report that is "Period Sensitive" (Per Sens Aged AP and Period Vendor Trial Balance") are designed to take into account the period that a document was closed in, and should show the items that were open as of period 12-2009, for example, if you enter that period. Note that the aging date simple ages whatever items show on that report, so you would also have to change the date to 12/31/2009 for it to age as of the end of December. (assuming calendar fiscal year)
