Hi - So we had an issue this year integrating sales orders into GP from our ecommerce platform.
During a peak period, we were taking 20+ orders per minute for several hours per day.
Using our current Web Services integration, we couldn't keep up. We were trailing behind roughly 2-2.5 hours at one point integrating orders.
I have been trying to connect with Microsoft for suggestions on next steps as the support team believes we may have hit the peak at which GP can handle based off of our volume that needs to integrate within the time frame we need it too; which of course is instant.
Some have suggested to spread out the integration time but that doesn't work for us, in our business, orders placed today, ship today....so every every coming in from ecommerce needs to be treated as such.
I am looking to find someone that has also had the same problem trying to integrate 20+ orders per minute and what they may have done to accomplish this. We are invested in dynamics GP and do not want to leave the platform if we don't have too but support has briefly mentioned that we may have hit the capacity at which GP can handle the inbound order integration that we require.
