I don't believe that the downloaded versions from CustomerSource have any keys with them as most customers have their own unlocking keys to use.
The product does allow for I think about 20 accesses before it goes into trial-lock mode and you have to restore the system db.
Partnersource will have access to the sales evaluation copy that I believe goes for about a year before it expires , unless that changed. You can contact your partner or you might contact

Thank you Erich. Would you please share with me the link to the files on customersource that you are referring to?
It's the very same set of installation files.
In the trial mode, there's nothing that show up during the installation process.
There are additional steps in order to setup the Contoso dataset.
Erich: Where can i find the key-less SL installation files? There is no such option under customersource -> dynamics SL files.
Is this something that would show up during the installation process?!
There is indeed an evaluation mode. If you setup a key-less SL installation, it defaults to a TRIAL-LOC mode in which you can lurke around the system.
Also, there are scripts that creates a Contoso kind of demo database.
