Inventory transfer journal does not adjust cost amount after inventory recalculation in AX 2009

Hi all,

I've had some inventory transfer journals in the month and by the end of the month, I did an inventory recalculation to adjust the actual inventory cost for item transactions in the month. The inventory cost is actually adjusted, however not in the posted transfer journal lines. The cost amount is still the same with values before recalculation. I have a screenshot here for better clarification:

In same item it has updated all the transactions except this current transaction, again in this purchase order line is updated successfully but transfer journal line is not updated.

Anyone knows how I can track the cost adjustment in inventory transfer journals like this?

Hello Ax_Tushar,

The transfers that you recorded were those recorded within a single site but between warehouses or were they transferred between sites and warehouses?

Please note that AX does not create ledger vouchers for transfers within a single site - except for some specific countries/regions were this is required.

Would be great if you could check your Transactions in this respect and probably provide more information.

Thank you for your response,

while trying to post the transfer order between the site and warehouses just have a look at following:

For the same Item with same site and warehouse I have successfully transferred with adjustment values it has updated correctly but only for the one transaction it has not updated on transfer journal.

Note: It has updated at purchase level for which we have adjusted value.

its not supposed to - the cost does not change just because the goods were moved- there have been a number of threads posted explaining this to which you can refer..
