What is SAGE ID for Assets? What is purpose of it? How to manage it in FnO?

Can you elaborate? Where exactly do you see this? If you see a field with this name in Dynamics 365 Finance, it might be a custom field storing a Fixed asset number from an older Sage implementation.

I just wanted to know what is SAGE ID for Fixed assets? I haven't came across this in FnO yet, but just curious to know what it is and how it can be useful in FnO?
Can you explain from where you got this term "SAGE ID" and why you think it might be related to Dynamics 365?
I'm with Andre on this. SAGE ID is not a standard field anywhere in F&O. SAGE is the name of a stand-alone Fixed asset system. I would guess this is either a custom field or someone renamed an existing field using personalization.
