Active Directory Schema upgrade to Windows Server 2019 would it break the Active directory link for AX 2009 SP1 Production environment

AX 2009 SP1 is currently on Windows server 2008 R2 and the active directory schema will be upgraded to Windows Server 2019 , would it break the authentication of active directory users within the AX 2009 Sp1 production environment. If yes, then Max operating system version the active directory schema can be upgraded too.
