No option to publish/unpublish duplicate detection rules

I'm trying to publish a new duplicate detection rule but there is no option from the view or within the rule itself to do this.

In the sandbox version I can see that it should be on the same bar as 'new' and 'delete', underneath Entity type

Anyone know why this might have happened and how to recover the publish/unpublish options?

    Please check in the user assign security role should have the access -

    Hi,

    Seems like a Ribbon/Command Bar issue.

    You are not able to see it under "More Actions" ?

    If you import your customizations/or perform a minimal copy to a sandbox are you able to reprodce the issue ?

    A trial and error kind of a solution may be to export a solution from a different default org with only the Duplicate detection rule entity and Application Ribbon and then import in the org with the issue.

    I suggest that we 1st try it in a copy organization and not the actual org.

    Hi Aamer,

    They're not under 'more actions'.

    I tried importing the duplicate detection rule entity into the live instance from sandbox but the issue still occurs.

    Hi Ciaran,

    Alongwith the entity, did you include the Application Ribbon as well?

    Surprisingly, Ribbon workbench does not show this entity or we may have checked for any ribbon customizations. We may still extract the Application ribbon in a solution xml file though.

    Saw the same issue in Dynamics CRM 9.0 and figured out that Duplicate Detection Settings need to be enabled by navigating to Settings => Data Management => Duplicate Detection Settings => Check the box for "Enable duplicate detection"
