compare year to date sales to last year to same date

Sorry new to GP,  anyone have a way to get a list by customer ,  show year to date sale , and last year to date sales 

so if it's may 16, 2017 , I want to see jan 1st 2017 to may 16th 2017 ,  then next to it jan 1st 2016 to may 16th 2017

    Hi Jenn,

    Your suggestion was posted in the Dynamics365 General section.. which I don't think the dev team that's looking for Dynamics  GP suggetions will ever look at..

    You should move your suggestion to the proper place in the suggestion site if you want it to be considered.

    Hi Cameron1,

    I wonder if you could get this list in SmartList or SmartViewer?

    There is a Total Sales report you can run, just modify the columns you need, thn filter out the year(s) you want.  SmartList can run this pretty quick, but if you want the columns to be a bit fancier, I would suggest SmartViewer.

    Hi Cameron,

    Welcome to the GP Community.

    I would start with this view and adapt it to my needs. victoriayudin.com/.../sql-view-for-sop-sales-by-customer-by-month

    You will want the view to call the SQL server system date so the data can be generated dynamically.
