Hi all,
I have a negative entry in Warehouse Entries due to a system issue. Here’s what happened:
For one Warehouse Shipment, I first created a Pick and then deleted it.
I then created a new Pick. However, when I registered the second Pick, the first Pick was not fully deleted only the Place line was removed.
As a result, both Picks are now registered under the same shipment, giving me two Pick lines and one Place line in Warehouse Entries. In contrast, the Item Ledger Entries (ILE) show only one shipment line.
I need to adjust the warehouse entries to correct this discrepancy.
We cannot use the Warehouse Item Journal, because Directed Put-away and Pick is not enabled since go-live.
Any advice on how to safely adjust the warehouse entries would be greatly appreciated!
Hello, Correct with the Warehouse Item Journal
This method creates a precise counter-entry to fix the imbalance in the specific bin.
Find the Bin Code: First, review the incorrect negative Warehouse Entry to identify the exact Bin Code from which the item was taken Open the Warehouse Item Journal: Navigate to the Warehouse Item Journal page.
Create a Positive Adjustment Line: Create a new journal line with the following details:
This action will post a positive warehouse entry that directly cancels out the erroneous negative entry for that specific bin, aligning your warehouse quantities with your item ledger without affecting inventory value.
Since we haven’t enabled this function since I started using BC, I’m unable to open it now.
Do you have any alternative workaround for this?

Hello Valentine,
Thank you for all your suggestions.
I tried to create the journal using the Warehouse Adjustment function, but it didn’t pick up the required quantity.
Hi Rishabh,
Unfortunately, I have already posted the invoice, and it happened last year. I didn’t notice it until now. If I reverse will the whole invoice will it be the two pick line also reverse.
I temporarily enabled Directed Put-away and Pick and performed the adjustment. It seems to have resolved my issue.
However, there is one issue arise in warehouse entries after making the adjustment, the Warehouse Entries are now showing negative entries in the adjustment bin. Is it possible to correct the negative entries only within the adjustment bin? Is there a way to fix this?
I followed the solution shared in the last post of the thread below, but it didn’t work for me: https://community.dynamics.com/forums/thread/details/?threadid=8b529ca2-33cc-ef11-b8e8-7c1e52577a44
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
