GP2013 web management console – Access Denied

I have an issue with the Dynamics GP Web client that is preventing users access the session manager and Tenant manager in the Dynamics GP webmanagement console. The following message appears:

Web page error = Access Denied

Event viewer =

Message Id: 286 (Fault Detail is equal to Microsoft.Dynamics.MultitenantServices.ServicesInterface.TenantFault).

Error Microsoft.Dynamics.GP.Web.WMC.Services.STMS System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[Microsoft.Dynamics.MultitenantServices.ServicesInterface.TenantFault]: There was a problem retrieving the user information.

The user in question is part of the Web admin group and can access the website but is denied access to the snapins.

It seems to be missing permissions somewhere but I can’t figure out where?

The web client is running in GP2013 SP2. using domain accounts for access

Fixed - The users have to be added into tenant management users as service admins. unfortunately you cannot add AD groups so each user has to be entered manually.
