I would like to know if its possible to use the tax calculation method for D365. See Link: Tax Calculation overview - Finance | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn If I check this side it is stated:/Tax Calculation integrates with Dynamics 365 Finance and Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management. Eventually, it will also integrate with Dynamics 365 Project Operations, Dynamics 365 Commerce, and other first-party and third-party applications./
Well, eventually it will integratate with Project Operations ... That is not a clear argument and if I check more below on this side if Project invoices or Project journals will be supported, I do not see that this is the case.
So I can assume then that the tax calculation method cannot be integrated with Project Operations?
Hi DNC, As mentioned in the official Microsoft document in September 2022, the preview features of the tax service include out-of-the-box integration with Dynamics 365 Finance, Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, and Dynamics 365 Project Operations. Tax Services functionality in the May 2022 document changed to only mention out-of-the-box integration with Dynamics 365 Finance and Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management. And then it is mentioned in the official document in April 2023 that it is currently integrated with Dynamics 365 Finance and Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management. Since this is the latest documented statement, I feel that Dynamics 365 Project Operations, Dynamics 365 Commerce, and other 1st and 3rd party application integration capabilities are not yet implemented until officially stated in the Microsoft documentation.
