    1) download security report

    2) take a test user

    3) assign SystemAdmin Role to TestUser : run security report. save report in pdf or excel

    4) assign SecurityAdmin Role to TestUser: run security report again. save report in excel or pdf

    5) do comparison or analysis or whatever

    or

open SDT and do analysis manually using SDT

another point, no need think anything about SystemAdmin.

System admin has access to everything of ax application all modules all tables AOT, classes ect.

    just think about other roles

    Hi Ali,

Just in a few words: A system administrator is like a domain administrator on Windows. It has access to all functionality and also the development environment.

The security administrator is a role to create and maintain users in AX. Also this person can assign role and I thought also change the contents of roles and privileges.

This person cannot assign the system administrator role to himself or another user. That is still done by a system administrator himself.
