Is there a table where current period account totals are kept?

We have SL2011 and want to create a special income statement. I have found all the account data for CLOSED periods in the ACCTHIST table but have been unable to find the same information for the current/open period. I select and total the GL Tran table but I was wondering this information already existed in a table some place.

As Raymond indicated, the ACCTHIST table will have Period-To-Date and Y-T-D balances for the Current GL processing period. The PTDBalXX fields are period-to-date and YTDBalXX fields are year-to-date. Make sure you have all of your current period batches posted via the Post Transactions screen. Also, keep in mind that the Period Numbers in the table are 00-11, rather than 01-12. So, PTDBal04 would be the Period-To-Date balance for May (for a normal calendar-year-end set-up).

Thank you to both John and Ray.. you guys are great!!!. I had forgotten about the period numbers starting at 0 instead of 1... DOH!!!!!
