CRM 2016 Multi Server Deployment Load Times - SLOW

Hello,

I have recently migrated a customer from CRM 2013 to 2015 and then upgraded to 2016 Update 0.1. Everything with the migration and upgrade worked successfully. We came across the ADFS issue and added authenticated users to Pre2000 windows group. That was one ticket for Microsoft. We were troubleshooting performance and the engineer had me open another ticket.

So opened another ticket and have worked with Microsoft for over 8 hours without resolve. We have now changed the omitvarystar option in IIS and restarted IIS on both of our front end servers. Anytime we restart IIS it will return to a reasonable response time. Per Microsoft Support anything under 10 seconds on load is acceptable.

Our deployment Scenario is below:

CRMFE1, CRMFE2 - NLB using Microsoft Load Balancing. Have separate VLAN for Load Balanced NICs.

CRMBE1 - Backend and Email Router.

SQL - SQL and Reporting Server.

All servers are Server 2012 R2 Datacenter, Hosted on 3 hosts that have dual 14 core processors, 256GB Memory, 16Gb FC to SAN, MSA2040 Storage with SSD and performance teiring.

Hardware appears to be idling. Two front end and backend server have 4 vCPU, 16GB Memory each. The SQL server has 8 vCPUs, 80GB Memory. We get approximately 400MB/sec of copy throughput between VM's currently.

Currently limiting SQL Memory to 61440MB for the CRM instance. Org Database size is 58GB. We run one org only.

Running the  Microsoft Dynamics CRM – Performance Center - shows the following results. This was clicking on activities.

Grid Load Start (-> 0 ms)

All Controls Initialized (23850 ms)

Read-Ready Grid (10219 ms)

IFrame Init (11 ms)

Fetch and Start Load Page (10097 ms)

Document Ready and CSS Load (111 ms)

Initialize (13631 ms)

Grid Page Load (13627 ms)

Before JS load (1 ms)

Read-Ready (-> 10219 ms)

Load Global JS and Init (202 ms)

Start Global JS Load (-> 10220 ms)

Load Other JS and Init (12857 ms)

Start Other JS Load (-> 10422 ms)

Intialize Controls (147 ms)

Start Initialize Controls (-> 23279 ms)

Initialize Page manager (378 ms)

Start PageManager Init (-> 23426 ms)

PageManager.LoadHandler (85 ms)

LoadCommandBarData (261 ms)

BuildCommandBar (60 ms)

Initialize WRPC tokens (42 ms)

Start Init WRPC Tokens (-> 23804 ms)

Start Metric Collection (-> 23846 ms)

CommandBar Rendered (-> 23846 ms)

All Controls Initialized (-> 23850 ms)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as i am getting no where with Microsoft and trying to escalate case and will have to wait day or two. Customer has been dealing with it for over a month.
