Missing emails due to the application of a Workflow

Hi,

Basically, I had 24 auto-forwarded mails in CRM generated with the help of a scheduler and status is sent for all those mails. I designed a workflow which will do three steps:

1. Set the status to draft 

2. Se the direction of mail to incoming 

3. Set the email status back to received. 

I run this workflow manually and peformed the task...But, after few hours, those particular 24 mails are not there in CRM anywhere. Can anyone tell how should i find them ?

    Yes, checked all the possible ways but no such missed emails are found.

    It is unlikely that CRM is deletigng email by itself. Double check your advance find criteria or better search all emails which are modified on today.

    When you do the Advanced Find query did you make sure you used “New” for the “Use Saved View:” option so you get all emails without filtering out these based on a view; just checking.

    No, they are not in CRM.. But, workflow didnt contain any logic for deletion .So, where those emails can be missed ?

    Have you tried to get email records using advanced find  to check if they are still in CRM?
