ACCOUNT SCHEDULES

Our Fiscal Year is 10/1 - 9/30 but when i do the account schedule overview, view by year, and the date value, I have to fill it in all the time. Is there a way to make that date match the fiscal year without having to type in those dates every time?  It defaults to 1/1-12/31 now, even though that's not my fiscal year.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi

I believe those accounting period follow the Accounting Period that you scheduled in Accounting Period setup. What is the month that your Fiscal Year starts in Accounting Period? if it is 1/1/year then formula is correct. But if it is 10/1/yy then my theory is wrong.

Thanks for info. I tested and yes when I select Year it goes for year and not Fiscal Year. Can you try Accounting Period? The other method is in date section use FY

But I could not find any method to make year goes for fiscal year. I hope some other experts can provide more info.

What do you have in your Column Layouts as the Column Type? There are options from Entire Fiscal Year, Rest of Fiscal Year and others. Regardless of your date range, if your columns are looking to the Fiscal Year, you'll get your correct data.
