Server Side Sync of Contacts, Appointments and Tasks

I have enabled server-side synchronization of Contacts, Appointments and Tasks, but it does not seem to be showing up in Outlook or in CRM when created in the other.

I have checked the alerts and it states that it was successful in setting it up, but the synchronization doesn't seem to be happening.   How can I trace what is going on?

Also, I am a bit concerned about blanketly synchronizing these items, just because I don't want internal appointments, personal contacts or personal tasks to pollute the CRM system.   So, if you mark one of them as private, does that prevent them from being synced to CRM?

Update:   It seems that the task are synchronizing, but the appointments and contacts are not.

    Thoughts?

    Hi Blackhawk

    For Outlook issues

I suggest you to reconfigure the outlook client configuration(In configuration wizard just delete the current configuration and create it again).

    Hope it helps you

How would this help?    This is a *Server Side Synchronization* not outlook for CRM.

Hmmm....seems like an on-prem thing to me.     I have CRM Online and Exchange Online.

Not sure I can do tracing....

No Outlook data is promoted to CRM unless you choose to track the item.

Appointments created in CRM should appear in Outlook.

Similarly Contacts from CRM will synch to Outlook if they match your personal synch filters settings (user=Owner, by default).
