Dynamics CRM 2016 outlook client installing on win 10 error

Hello,

I am getting an error when trying to install CRM 2016 Outlook Client on Windows 10. 

IE 11 is installed. 

1. Is it supported?

2. Error message received: 

Installation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook failed. Exit code: 1603. Result: Fatal error during installation.

Does anyone have any idea's on what could be the issue? things to check? ect.

CRM 2016 On-premise

    Check the installation log for the CRM-client for any other error messages:

    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\MSCRM\Logs

    I was able to install the Client by doing the following:

    1. Set Internet Explorer 11 as the default browser program.

    2. Downloaded the CRM 2016 Outlook Client directly on to the machine.

    3. Ran the installation as administrator.
