Setup Financial report to show Income statement for each financial dimension

Hello,

We have set up an income statement via the financial report designer tool. It works as intended, showing the transactions for each main account inserted, and now we would like to apply it for each profit center (one of our financial dimensions).

In AX9 we were able to use dimension sets to generate an income statement for each profit center, and now we're wondering if it possible to achieve in D365 F&O. Just like the setup in AX we want it to generate an income statement per profit center, meaning it generates quite a long report, starting off with the income statement for Profit Center "1" and then moving on in chronological order, showing the financial statement for each main account for each dimension value.

If this could be set up, could it also be setup in a dynamic way so that it is available for @ANY company? We got around 50 legal entities and maintaining unique report for each legal entity is not an option.

I don’t know your report details, but can’t you create a new Financial Dimension set only with pretended dimension ( Profit Center ) and get balance per dimension value in trail balance report ?
