Overlapping of Purchase order

We have a PO with item having line status received (product receipt is also generated for that item) and now when I try to enter the price of the product I am getting the below error.

Cannot create a record in Purchase order history (PurchTableHistory). Insert not supported with the values specified for 'Effective' and 'Expiration'. New record overlaps with multiple existing records.

Can you please help me to resolve this issue, any help would be appreciated.

Hello Ludwig,

Below is the PO form, When I try to edit the price for the item highlighted in the screenshot I am getting the error attached in the screenshot. For all the lines in the attached PO contain the same item number

Many thanks for the screenprints.

I had a quick look at LCS and found an old and similar issue.

What I would like to know is whether you run the very latest AX2012 R3 version; that is, do you have all available hotfixes installed on your machine?

Also, can you let us know if colleagues of yourself see the same error message when they try doing the same that you do?

Yes, we are using latest AX2012 R3 version. And my colleagues also facing the same issue.

Hi,

This issue is resolved.

I just took the following steps.

Go to the purchTableHistory table and change the valid from date for that particular SO line. Because the confirmation validity is expired for that field that's why it was not allowing me to enter the unit price for that SO line.
