List view Card Forms wrong icon text

Posted on by 390

Hi all,

some how the Icon text on the Form Card shows the owning Account instead of the content in the specific view. How can this be changed?

    Hi Lu,

thanks for the detailed information regarding this, so from my end it seems as the icon will only show the primary field there is something wrong in my set up of this related entity with Responsible Distributors for a specific account. So I have to check if I can make changes to this entity to make it work for us. The Primary Field should of course be Account and not the relationship unique id as it is today.. :(

    regards

    Hi Martin,

    Unfortunately, this is impossible.

The icons inside the subgrid show the acronym for the primary field of this entity.

Moreover, the primary field of the entity cannot be changed.

Therefore, it is impossible to modify the contents of the icons in the subgrid.

So I would like to recommend replacing the field to the right of the icon.

We can decide which three fields are shown here.

Each record in the subgrid shows the first three columns of the view, so we only need to change the fields of the first three columns of the view.

Go to view editor, add the owning Account field as the column in the view, and move it to the first column. Save and publish.
