Hi All,

Were trying to post a production picking list journal and were getting this error message. But when we validate it says ok but when you click post the error will come up.

Error: production status ended does not allow inventory update

Anyone have also experience this in the past?

    Hi Jonathan,

    In this case it could be related to a customization or another bug. To find the culprit you could debug the process to find out why it raises the error for ended production orders when the status is started.

    A developer would be able to do this debugging.

    Hi Sir,

    All status are in Started. two of the prodlines in the journal are in Material Consumption and 1 as Report as Finished for the Remain Status.

    Hi Jonathan,

    If the production order has the status Ended you can't post new transactions. At this stage it has calculated the cost price and possible variances if you are using standard cost.

    Make sure you completed all picking lists, route journals and all quantities are reported as finished before ending a production order.
