Hi Drew,
I managed to do it now. I just uninstalled my CRM App and installed it again and it started worked. As ar as storing is concerned i think signature field is getting stored in png format. I can see the value in Advanced find.
To display Signature Image in WebClient i found this article useful.

I just did this to make sure it would work for me.
Steps:
1. Added new field to entity called Signature with multiple lines of text
2. Went into form and added field to the form and then went into the field properties / controls and added the pen control
3. Chose to hide field on the web
4. Save and Publish the entity making sure that the entity was available on the phone as well
5. Downloaded the Mobile client and installed on my iphone 6
6. I was able to go into my test entity and click on the field and capture the signature
7. After capturing the signature and going out of the field, it did not retain the value.
So, I was able to capture the signature by clicking in the field and then capturing but it did not save or show exactly like is reflected in this article: community.dynamics.com/.../mobile-controls-in-dynamics-crm-2016

Thanks for the reply. I have tried both on Mobile Express View and Mobile App. It doesn't seem to work.

Hi Saad, are you looking at the Mobile Express view from the web or the actual mobile app? This would only be available on the mobile application form from the device.
