My Users cannot create a case using Quick Create Form

Hello CRM,

I am facing peculiar issue. As a system admin, i am able to create a case or child case using quick create form. But my CS users who have complete Organization level privileges on case entity are not able to create a case using quick create form.

They are getting the error " Insufficient permissions - You do not have access to create this record". In my CRM, we have only one active quick create form which is also the default one. I am not even able to assign a security role to this quick create form.

How to resolve this issue in CRM?

    Hi ,

When this error is coming when you are trying to open quick create form or when you are saving?

For first case you need to check whether  any role assigned to quick create form or not if it's role based forms.

And for second case check user have access of case entity , related entity like activity and any others custom entity, incase you have plugin check your plugin if you are creating some another entity record but don't have access. Check you have connection and connection entity access.

Better assigned the same security role which is working for others .

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks for quick reply.

    1. My users are getting this error when they try to save a quick create form. They are able to open a quick create form without any error.

    2. This quick create form is not role based. Assigning security roles to this form is disabled by microsoft.

    3. My users has 100% organization level access to all privileges in case entity. I dont have any custom entities associated with case.

    4. I have 2 plugins on case assign and case add to queue. I guess this doesn't have to do anything with case create or case save. We dont have any connections to case entity.

    5. Only sys admin (me) is able to create using quick create form. But i cant provide sys admin role to all users in my CRM.

THEY ARE ABLE TO CREATE NEW CASE BUT THEY CANT CREATE NEW CASE FROM QUICK CREATE FORM ("+" BUTTON)

    Hi,

This is strange behavior if user are able to create case from main form and not from quick create form. Try to provide  system admin role for one user and check once if user  are still facing issue or not.

What is the difference between your main form and quick create form?there may be some additional field which  are having field level security enabled.

Also try to clear browser cache sometimes it's may help.

I don't know you may raise a ticket to

Microsoft if it does not help or wait for someones reply.

    Let me know.

Resolved the issue. The mistake was read privilege regarding entitlement was not given to my CS Representative. Since entitlement lookup field is part of quick create form it throws an error.
