Hi,

I want to search on Project number field on the Outlook App.

I added the Project number field on the Quick Find view but cant search for it on the App. I can search using Project number on global searches in Dynamics but not in Outlook.

Is this configured in a different place ?

First check if you can set regarding project entity in CRM (browser). If this is not working in browser that means activites are not enabled for Project entity.

If you can set regardign in CRM, then add the entity in relevance search as well. This change will take some time to reflect so once done, publish all customization >> prepare all customizations >> Restart outlook.

    Hope this helps

    Hi Ravi,

    I didn't mention

    - I added Project entity in Relevance Search

    - Project entity is enabled for Activities

    - Un-istalled and reinstalled App

    - Published customizations so many times

In browser i can search using the Project number as i added this as Quick Find... No sure what is missing ?

Also yes, i can set regarding against the Project activity.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

If you have done all the above steps then I would suggest you to wait back tomorrow. Sorry not the best suggestion but I have seen peaple coming next day saying its working fone now. If it still doen't work, may be someone can suggest.

You can also contact log a request with Microsoft now so that if it doesn't resolve or you don't get any other suggestion, Microsoft can help you futher on this.

You also might want to add that field to lookup view of that particular entity.

    Thanks,

    Shahid
