Closing billing cycle has a balance discrepancy

Hello all,

 

In a bit of a bind and could use some help.  A long story short,  most of us have seen where you close a billing cycle and you need to go in and fix the customers last closing amount to be what AR says it should be. 

 

Not wanting to go into details but on this one I need to change the AR transactions/balance that should equal the customers last closing balance.

 

Does anyboy know where the AR amount coming from :

 

XXX customer has a balance discrepancy.  Accounts Recivable indicates a balance of XXX

And yes,  I know the AR needs to be fixed on this one but not usually.

    Kip,

    Thank you for your post.

    There are two AR tables, AccountsReceivable (AR) and AccountsReceivableHistory(ARH). As I understand the ARH table is what you are referring to.

    I have also included the KB to match the Last Closing Balance to the Accounts Receivable Balance.
