Hi,

can i know what could be reason am unable to save the value in Name 2 field of Vendor card page.

Can i suggession how can i save value in Name 2 field.

I don't think you need to implement this trigger !
As far as I know, the system will modify or create a record automatically.

Yes, 'Name 2' is a standard field, and its value is saved automatically when we enter it. You don't need to write additional code for it. If you are facing an issue, there must be some other reason.
Suggestions: Check the vendor card in another company to see if you're facing the same issue.
Test in a different sandbox to see if the issue persists.
Try upgrading BC and check again.
Check if there is any customization affecting this. Uninstall all the custom extension and then check.
