How can I change the current system currency for USD from 5 deciaml palces to 2?

Hi Donnette,

Thanks for the question. There is no supported way to reduce the currency decimal places once you have started entering data into GP.

The reason for this is that the effect of decreasing your currency decimal places, when you already have transactions, is very extensive. There are too many tables and fields in those tables that are storing the amounts with the decimal places. If you reduce the number of decimal places, no rounding-off process will be done and the system will just cut off the extra digits.

If you have not entered any data into GP please let me know and I can provide you with the steps to alter the currency decimals.
