Hi all

I have customized a check box in level 1 SAFGrids but I can not check in that field to choose record. If I change that check box to level 0, I can check in. So, Could some one explain why it is not enable when that field is level 1 and how to enable it ?. Any comment is appreciated .

    Hi Brian

Thanks for your suggestion, but I want to save new grouped order number to user07 of Soheader table, so I can not use report to do it. On the other hand, I want to use inquiry screen because there are many option to filter data in that screen, so I don't need to customize much.

You can look for a maintenance screen to customize rather than an inquiry screen.

From the description, selecting orders to print from the View Selections option appears to be the easiest method. The report grouping method can be chosen for the report on the sort tab by adding a new group by field.

I want to add a check box in that screen to select some orders that will be grouped. There is a customize command button that will insert new order number in user07 for all selected orders.

The Options tab on the Picking List report has the option to view selections. Couldn't individual shippers requiring a pick list be selected from that screen?

The description of the desired change sounds appropriate for the shipper screen, rather than the open/closed sales order inquiry screen. As a rule, changes via screen customization won't override code in the screen.

I don't have an SL65 installation available to compare this screen with SL2011.

    Hi, Brian

I added a check box in open and close order screen. I want to use that check box to choose orders that I will group in a picking list. I can do it in Solomon 6.5 because the open and close order SAFgrid of Solomon 6.5 is level 0 and check box is same level with SAFgrid. But in Dynamics SL 2011 SAFgrid of open and close order is level 1, so I can not add a level 0 check box to choose record like 6.5. If I add a level 1 check box it's suppressed.

Can you please provide a bit more detail; what screen, and what field?

I tested a simple customization for the AP Voucher & adjustment screen, adding a check box to the APDoc (level 1) record, with the data saved in a user field - no problems.
