Hi,

I'm using AX 2012 CU7 to create a Dialog with a query to filter Inventlocation

I extends RunBaseBatch and build a QueryRun and override method showQueryValues() to return true.

Everything looks fine until these days ,

some users (with AX administrators security) complain they can not see the query anymore.

But using my account login, I can see the query without problem.

I try to clear usage data, auc file, cache... it didn't work, Can anyone shed some light on how to solve it I would

be much appreciated!

Can you please elaborate what "can not see the query" exactly means?

    Hi, Martin:

Thank you for the quick reply. I post the screen here.

I mean I can see the warehouse Query in the first screen.

For some other users now, they can not see it like the second screen.(they used to able to see it)

I copy the whole application to a new environment.

Over there even my account can not see the Query now.

I did the full compile /CIL/Sync DB without error,  but it didn't help

It'd be appreciated if you have some ideas how to solve the problem, many thanks!

This looks like a difficult one to decipher. Check in your 'runbasenatch' overriding class that the version of your class and the macro matches. Also check if unpack method is using it correctly.

Apart from that you have already done the usuals - clear local client cache, AOS cache, user data, restart AOS etc.

If none of the above works, then this should go to Microsoft support and, believe me, you will need to provide your environment to them. This will be very hard to replicate otherwise.

    Hi

Try to debug the initQuery method of RunBaseDialogModify class.

This method is responsible of the query part.

    Hello Everyone :

    Sorry for the late update,

I debug in method Denis mentioned and found the QueryRun object is not initialized..

Then I check my code again. The statement to initialize QueryRun has been commented out,  After I uncomment it, The Query shows up! So the reasonable explanation of how come others users cannot see it but me perhaps it's because the application cache?

Anyway,I'd  like to thanks everyone who reply this thread. Especial Denis, you really do me a big favor!
