Error while creating a new Pop3/Smtp Server Profile

Hello everybody,

I'm trying to add a new Pop3/Smtp to Dynamics 365 Online but program stops me while saving data with error "The email server isn't supported". My email server is quite simple with standard ports.

If I create same configuration on my OnPremise Dynamics 365 org and everything works fine.

Incoming (POP3): pop3s.aruba.it

Port: 995

Outgoing (SMTP): smtps.aruba.it

Port: 465

Hi Alessando,

Dynamics CRM 365 Online supports only the following providers:

Exchange **online**

GMail

Yahoo

Currently if you need to integrate another provider, you need to develop a customization.

Please note that outlook integration still works (when talking about to track and untrack emails).

Pls try email router which allows both am to & pop3 .

To support only Gmail and Yahoo pop3/smtp servers is unacceptable. It's microsoft way of forcing you to do things their way. Email Router works just fine allowing you to setup ANY pop3/smtp server. Now it will be discontinued and we will be limited to use only those two options OR their own email services. Amazing Microsoft. If you replace Email Router, should replace with a compatible service. Instead of things get better, it gets worse (will also discontinue Organization Service Endpoint and replace with WebAPI, which is not fully compatible).

You will get this error when you are not using supported SMTP/POP3, please check here for supported SMTP/POP3 technet.microsoft.com/.../dn531050.aspx
