Has anyone had any success using an Excel data source with Integration Manager 2010?
I am trying to create a simple integration with an XLSX data source. I can create the DSN for the Excel file in IM (using the ACE driver v14.00), but as soon as I select the Data Source in the Simple or Advanced ODBC Source, Integration Manager crashes.
I saw this old 2008 thread and Mariano's post regarding a workaround with IM 10, but that doesn't seem to work with IM 2010.
I've tested on two machines and get the same results on both.

It seems that IM 2010 crashes using the newer ACE XLSX driver.
I've tried saving the file as an Excel 97-2003 xls file, but that results in the same crash if the same XLS / XLSX ACE driver (v14.00) is used.
I've also tried using the older XLS ODBC driver (v6.01). Although IM doesn' t immediately crash, it gives me a "No tables found" message.

I have the same question (0)Update: Well, it has been several years since I setup an Excel data source with Integration Manager.
I forgot to define the Data Range in the XLSX file.
Once I added the Data Range, the ACE XLSX driver worked fine and IM didn't crash.
And that also explains the "No tables found" message with the older ODBC XLS driver.
