CRM permissions error - giving SA doesn't help

We have a small CRM online instance with only one user (me) and recently i needed to add users, but after i added them, these users don't have any permissions to do anything. I have given a user the System Administrator role, but this doesn't help. There must be something fundamental i am missing...?

    Have you assigned the users licenses in the O365 Portal?

    Hi Mark,

    Yes CRM licenses are applied (same as my account). I don't believe i need to set anything else in the O365 portal.

    Are the users able to logon to CRM? or they are facing any errors?

    Users can login with no errors, however they don't see any detail and cannot access any records.

    Go to settings>>Security>>Users>> double click on user name>>scroll down to 'Administration' tab and change Access Mode to 'Read-Write'

    You legend! all good. I thought the 'administrative' setting meant you could do everything. Clearly that's no the right definition of what this field is all about.
