Disable printing discount information in promotions

Is there a way to control / disable printing discount information in Silent Promotions and Mix & Match Promotions in NAV?  The receipt should be printed with only the offer price / discounted price without including the discount % / price offered versus the original price and text like "total savings.." etc.

you can use standard reports with a few customizations like switches in report request page, which control view/not view discount info or develope new reports for your needs.

Jonathan's already got you looking in the right direction. I'd only add the following: NAV 2015 onwards support Word based Report Layouts, so don't be daunted if you're not comfortable creating reports with traditional tools like Visual Studio or SQL Report Builder.

If you haven't worked with Word Report Layouts before, here is a quick set of steps:

    1. Navigate to Report Layout Selection page and identify the report for which you need a custom layout
    2. Highlight / select that Report in the list, then click on Custom Layouts in the ribbon
    3. In the Custom Report Layouts page that opens up, click on New in the ribbon, and select Insert Word Layout, Click OK.
    4. Back on the page, type in a Description for your new Custom Layout, and also define it is specific to a Company (if left blank, it applies to all Companies)
    5. Click Export Layout in the ribbon to save the Word file (and then you edit / make changes to the layout using the XML mapping pane). Watch this video for some help with this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GI8Kc1A2Dhc
    6. Click Import Layout in the ribbon to get the layout into Dynamics NAV
    7. Click Run Report in the ribbon to test that the layout works as desired
    8. Close the Custom Report Layouts page to return to the Report Layout Selection page
    9. Here, click on the Select Layout column (for your highlighted report) to see the dropdown menu of choices. Choose 'Custom Layout', and a window will pop-up. Here select the new Custom Layout you've created and click OK.
    10. Now close this window, and go to Search (or whichever screen you run the Report from), find the report, and run it.

I hope this helps. If my response has answered your question, please verify by clicking Yes next to "Did this answer your question?"
