Hi everyone
We the recent sign-in issues with Teams Live Events im now about to start to test the new Teams Webinars feature as an alternative within 365 Marketing.
We were forced to move 20 events to ON24 (rival platform) because of the current attendee sign-in issues for Teams Live Events.
I have heard the Teams LE will be phased out in the near future. We are now deciding whether to leave Teams LE permanently for ON24, but first i wanted to see how Teams Webinars now compares with both Teams Live Events and to ON24.
I have seen the Teams Webinars documentation and seen some of its features:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/blog/2021/05/11/introducing-webinars-in-microsoft-teams-easy-professional-webinars-to-engage-customers/
What i would specifically like to know about Teams Webinars in order to make the best decision are:
1. Can the attendee list be hidden from other attendees? - meaning only the owner and presenters can see this
2. Are you able to upload and add resources for attendees to download? - Brochure PDF, some documentation etc ?
3. Are you able to integrate Live Polls either in presenter mode or Powerpoint live mode?
If anyone form the MS Teams Dev Platform could respond, it would be appreciated..
/Chris
Hi Chris,
The questions you have raised can be better answered at the following site:
Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Tech Community
According to the following proposals, the feature has not been supported yet.
Make it possible for members of a Teams meeting to hide their full names – Welcome to UserVoice!
hide attendee list in teams meeting – Welcome to UserVoice!
You can upload the files by clicking share button or dragging the files into the following interface of Files.
And the files will be shown in Chat tab.
Yes.
Please refer to the following doc to know more about the integration of the polls:
Poll attendees during a Teams meeting - Office Support (microsoft.com)
If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.
Best Regards,
Nya
