Hello Everyone, I need to create a new SalesInvoice report.... very similar to the AX 2012r2 default SalesInvoice report. In essence, I will have two reports. How do I Modify the existing SalesInvoice report and do a SaveAS on it so I end up with 2 different reports using the same datasets?
Simpliest way is to create new design instead of duplicating whole report, however, if you want to have you own DP classes and datasets, here is a blog post that explains how to achive that https://www.axpulse.com/2014/03/17/duplicate-ssrs-reports-in-ax-2012/
thanks you for responding.. can you please tell me or [pont me to how do i create a new design...What am trying to achieve is the following: about five customers will have one design while the other. will have the default design. Please advise me how to get this done.

Thanks much for this ievgen..... I have created a new design by following the instructions however the report design is not showing up in AOT....in visual studio tool i can see the new design when viewing it from View->Application Explorer but when i open AX 2012 and go to AOT click on SSRS reports->report-> salesinvoice->design I am not seeing the new design.... this is getting very frustrating as I have tried some many things and my new design is still not appearing.
Please help... someone anyone.. thanks a mil
