Hi,

I'm trying to reverse a labor entry in WIP Data Collection in Dynamics GP Manufacturing 10.0.0991 (SP1). However, I appear to be getting rounding errors, as putting in the exact same numbers of hours, labor code, pay code, etc... produces this message: "The reversing entry creates a negative WIP calculation. Negative WIP is not allowed with your current system settings."

I'm not sure how to go about getting around/fixing this problem. We have a need to reverse this labor entry and this problem is causing us headaches.

Thanks for any input on this situation.

Dear Stephen,

Go to Manufacturing-->Setup-->System Defaults-->Manufacturing Orders then check the Allow Negative WIP Quantities
